ABOUT ME

Hi there! My name is Cooper, and im a 19 year old highschool student (sad I know.) I'm in my last year, hopefully graduating in June. Art is very important to me, its my main driver. I lover creating both for personal and professional purposes. Taken art classes all throughout highschool, and took on a co-op at an art/photography store last semester. I still do art there and I very much enjoy being there! This is my website. It is very unfinished and under construction right now, but I have big plans! I will be displaying my art and interests mainly on here. Everything will elvolve slowly overtime as I learn more about HTML and one day set my feet into CSS.

Well, if you're reading this it means you wish to know more about me. I shall provide. I was born and raised in the town of Thessalon Ontario until the age of 18, when I moved to a new town. It was a needed escape. I don't much miss Thessalon. Small town with small opportunities for work or fulfilling careers. Now I am lucky enough to have the opportunity to do what I love, I feel more hopeful for my future in art than I ever have. And I have the support of so many amazing people in my life I am so thankful for.

Good lord why are you reading so much I'm not that interesting. Ok, I dont do much when I dont have to. When I do I do as little as possible. I need to feel a stronge sense of purpose in something to care about it enough to do anything with it. I need a reason to make the art I'm making, whether personal or professional. It needs to be a reason I care about. Something being a project for the sake of being a project isnt enough for me. Why am I making it? Thats what drives me, the why.

Well then, that brings to question why am I making this website? Well, I didn't initally start with this site. I heard about neocities through a youtube video on my recommended. It stayed on my mind for a while until I made oc's (original characters) for Warrior cats. I had the idea to plot out the entire lore and world on a website, and Neocities was perfect for that. When I made the site I chose to add a button to learn about the creator of the characters, so I figured to make a whole other website for myself. So thats how this website was born. The Warriors oc site is still up, still very under construction. Just click the image below to go there.
