Sophmore year! I've only heard the term spohmore slumps from a penelope scott song but I'd say it describes sophmore year pretty well. I was running entirely on auto-pilot in 10th grade and hardly remember anything. My mental health was still in the dumps and I was struggling to adjust being back at school after being away isolated for a year. If I remember correcly aswell we would occaisonally return to virtual learning aswell. I again took art in 10th grade and was thankfully able to take 10th grade art even though I failed 9th grade art. Something you wouldn't normally be able to do but I was known to enjoy and be good at art, and with the knowledge that covid played a major role I was able to move to take 10th grade art without the 9th grade pre-cursor credit. I did more work in 10th grade but I still lacked motivation and didn't do all my work.
